What it is
Future Work Academy is an AI-powered business simulation for management education, created by Douglas E. Mitchell, Senior Business Execution Consultant at Wells Fargo and graduate analytics instructor at Grand View University, Des Moines, Iowa. Students lead a fictional manufacturer, Apex Manufacturing, through eight weeks of strategic decisions about AI adoption, workforce transformation, and cultural health.
What it does
Students make strategic decisions, manage stakeholders, and consult AI expert advisors, then receive AI-graded feedback against transparent rubrics. The platform includes instructor override, three difficulty tiers, FERPA-aligned privacy, and LMS integration — built for real classroom deployment.
